Business Accounting Solutions provides business valuation services to attorneys, accountants and business
executives, among others. Our valuation services vary to meet client needs
and generally fall into one of five categories:

Business valuations are performed for a variety of
purposes, including the
following:
- Buying or selling all or a
partial interest in a business;
- Charitable contributions;
- Mergers;
- Corporation or partnership
dissolution
- Re-capitalization;

- Divorce;
- Buy-Sell Agreements;
- Gift, estate, and
inheritance taxes;
- Estate Planning;
- Determining the need for
life insurance;
- Obtaining financing.

We have completed the certification process with the National Association of
Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and have been designated a Certified
Valuation Analyst (CVA).
|
To qualify for the CVA designation,
one must:
- Be a member in good standing of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants (AICPA) and the appropriate State Society of CPA's;
- Hold a valid and un-revoked CPA certificate and license;
- Be a member in good standing of
NACVA;
- Complete a designated training program;
- Provide references;
- Pass a comprehensive examination.

In situations involving charitable
contributions we meet the Internal Revenue Service requirements of a "qualified appraiser"
under Treasury Regulation Section 1.170A-13(c)(5)
offering our services to clients needing a qualified appraisal of
contributions deducted on their federal income tax returns.
